1. Yesterday we got home from a weekend trip to St. George. After a long Christmas break of sitting at home, we really just needed to get out of the house. (Jed never has work between Christmas and New Year. Or even for a few days before Christmas and after New Year. Nobody wants to be in the middle of a kitchen remodel during the holidays, I guess.) So, we packed up the car and drove south for some warm weather and palm trees. We had a blast playing in the hotel pool and sliding down the sand dunes in snow canyon, and visiting the dino museum, and seeing Tin Tin at the movie theatre, and looking at Real Estate for no particular reason. (We are both soooo sick of living here. We need a change. It's ironic that we finally have everything else we need to move, but we really can't because Jed and Harvey are both in school. Which brings me to #2.)

2. Jed is back in school. We both checked and double checked and thought we had registered him for classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 AM and 8:30 AM. But it turns out they are actually at 7 and 8:30 PM. Which pretty much means significantly less writing for me, and no more advanced writing class on Thurdays at all. And a few times a month I will have to take both boys to Harvey's school Autism Training Meetings by myself. Egads. The good news is, this schedule is only for 3 (maybe 4?) months. Wish me luck.

3. My kids are the cutest boys ever. Ever since we left St. George Grey has been asking to go back to the "big, big, big, big, big, house." We finally figured out he is referring to the hotel we stayed in. He's calling our house the "baby house." To Grey, everything is either "big, big" or "baby." He, of course, is "big, big." I hope he never grows out of saying "I lub lu," and "hellmmp, peas."
