Great Grandpa was teasing Har.vey. Har.vey thought it was pretty funny.

Har.vey wanted Grandpa to hold him. I was pretty nervous because Grandpa's arms were shaking a lot, but Grandpa insisted he was okay. I stayed pretty close by.

Considering Grandpa usually forgets my name, he sure did remember a lot about Har.vey. He knew it was Flint's grandson, and he was born in Idaho, and his name was Harve.y. Har.vey really liked grandpa a lot, too. He wanted to touch his scruffy face.

On Friday we loaded the diaper bag into the car and headed up to Grandma Stephens house. We spent the night in Logan with her, and on Saturday we drove another hour to Paris (Idaho) to visit my Great Grandpa in the nursing home for his 90th birthday. Harvey got to meet his Great-great Grandpa! Great Grandpa is usually a pretty cranky guy, but he was so excited to see us all there with a cake and balloons. He went around the nursing home telling all his friends that the kids were his "Great-great grandkids" and he was getting 5-generation pictures.
If you know what a cranky old guy he is, you know how remarkable it is that he was HAPPY.
