Going Password Protected

Due to some circumstances surrounding Harv.ey's adoption, I have been worrying lately about this blog. Although I have it hidden from search engines, people who know how to do more advanced searches could still find it. I have a statcounter, so I can see roughly who looks at the blog, and there have been more and more people lately that I cannot account for. Makes me nervous.

There are two options that I know of for hiding a blog. First, I could move it over to Wordpress, and give you all a password. It would be a big chore, though, to move it, and I would have to pay a monthly fee. Second, I could open it only to invited readers. I think that is what I am going to do, because I don't really want to pay a monthly fee. If you want to keep reading, though, it is going to require just 5 minutes of effort on your part.

This is how it works. Go to https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount. Type in your email address (you won't get any junk mail) and a password, then fill out the "word verification" and you have a google account. Leave me your email address in the comments section (or email it to me at callyisathotmaildotcom) and I will send you an invitation. After that, you will have to type in your email and google account password to read the blog. I'm sorry that it's inconvient, but I really think it's a good idea.

I will give it a week or two, so everyone has a chance to get set up.
